Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work on your reinstatement. Your listing will be by a Google My Business Product Expert and within 24 hours an appeal will be submitted on your behalf.
Now that we have received your documents our expert will review them. If any questions come up while viewing these documents you will be notifice from this number ()
When documents have been approved, an appeal will be submitted. That appeal is going to come back in a couple of different ways.
You either:
Get approved and Google reinstate your profile. Woo hoo! We will celebrate and notify you when this happens.
Ranking usually comes back within 72 hours to two weeks, at worst-case scenario as you previously did prior to the suspension. You’ll get an email from us, just so you know, that you got reinstated and it’s literally the morning of.
The secondary response that we’ll get is potentially going to be that this has been escalated to a specialist. This just means that the person who got it can’t deal with it, because there are certain technical issues going on. So they have to send it to what’s called the Trust and Safety Team, which is the team that actually does the reinstatement work itself. If that happens, we’re looking at a delay. The delay can be anywhere from one day to about a week.
The third, and hopefully not likely response is a decline. If we get a decline, sometimes we get a hint as to what’s going on, sometimes we don’t. But the way that we deal with the decline is either by fighting back, which can take a little bit of time.
Or what we’ll do is contact you and discuss creating a new Google Business Profile. If we create a new profile, we will work with Google to transfer your reviews.
At the end of the day, your reinstatement can take anywhere from one day to 3 weeks. It all is going to really depend on the scenario and what’s going on when I receive a response from Google to my appeal.
We understand what you’re going through, we understand that it’s an interruption in business and that you’re not getting phone calls, we understand that is negatively impacting your life and your business.
We are not Google and can’t control the process.
What we see is a lot of negative emotions that are going on. People usually get antsy and they start to send us messages like:
We truly do care about your business and understand that you are missing out on hundreds of dollars by being suspended. However, Google has guidelines and if they are not followed suspensions happen. We’re not going to know anything for a minimum of a couple of days.
The general rule of thumb goes something like this, we are going to let you know as soon as we hear something from any one of our contacts. If we haven’t heard anything, we have nothing to communicate.
You will know what’s going on, because we are going to constantly communicate that with you as soon as we hear something, even if it’s on the weekend, sometimes.
We’ve got your back.
We’re working as hard as we can.
Sometimes Google has backups that we can’t do anything about.
When somebody asks us all the time what’s going on not only does it slow down the process for you but it also slows down the process for a lot of other people at the same time because we’re working on a lot of open standards.
We will send you a follow-up email of our discussion today and we will talk soon.
